Children's Ministries

Westwood Church desires to partner with families in growing faith-filled disciples of Jesus. Our Children’s Ministries intentionally and lovingly lead young ones to know their Savior and to love and serve Him all of their days.

Nursery

Infant-3 years

Our dedicated and background checked volunteers provide safe, happy moments for your little ones during our weekly 10am Sunday Worship Service and Wednesday night WOW gatherings.

Children’s Worship

3 years-1st grade

Each 10am Sunday Worship Service (September – May) begins with your entire family enjoying worship together. Kids’ Worship bags are available as you enter church, filled with special ways for your child to learn and enjoy God’s story. At a designated time during the service, parents are invited to take their young children downstairs for worship and activities meant especially for them. We carefully seek to make these early experiences with Jesus loving and joyful for your child.

GEMS

2nd - 8th grade girls

Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior — Through badge work, games, singing, crafts, creative movement, and service, we are equipping girls to live radically faithful lives–doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God. Every girl has been created by God for a purpose, and we seek to bless her with a greater understanding of His calling in her life. Part of our Westwood on Wednesdays (W.O.W) Sept.-March, 6:30-7:45pm

Cadets

2nd - 8th grade boys

Part of W.O.W, this is a high-energy place, Wed. 6:30-7:45pm, Sept- March, for boys to grow together, develop skills and interests, and have fun. Adult male Counselors dedicate themselves to bringing boys into a living relationship with Jesus and each other through Bible study, hands-on projects, games, and exploring God’s world.
